Gotchas
On the weekends, even numbered days are mountain bike only.  Odd days are hiker only.  Closed in December and January due to hunting.  Watch for the pile of quartz!

Elevation at parking lot

Trail description
Centennial Cone is one of the newest trails in the Denver front range.  Unique that it offers exclusive days for hikers and bikers on the weekend, and also unique in the fact that it's closed for a couple months in the winter during hunting season.  The "main" trail is about 12 miles and is a nice loop.  The start of the Hwy 6 side is nice, twisty singletrack, whereas the other side is more straight and fun.  There are also a couple of side trails, and even a moderately big cliffside exposure trail on the Evening Sun loop (you can route around it).

Included trails
Elk Range
Travois
Mayhem Gulch
Juniper

Every Wednesday evening during the summer we hit the trails in the Denver front range by mountain bike and usually go for food after.  If you are a high-fun, low-drama individual then join the rides and join the fun!
