Gotchas Be courteous to hikers. Take the Dakota Ridge option for a super technical and very rocky loop.
Elevation at parking lot Around 6330ft
Trail description The Red Rocks trail has some great rocks moves and makes a super nice and very scenic loop. It will definitely test your skills and early season fitness. Red Rocks offers many side trails, taking any one of them can add variety and some fun. If you really hate yourself you can cross over the road and go up the hogback to Dakota Ridge. It's actually more fun than it sounds, but be prepared to walk your bike unless you really know how to rock your bike. Luckily Red Rocks can be done without ever touching this portion, but you'd be missing out if you never tried it.

Every Wednesday evening during the summer we hit the trails in the Denver front range by mountain bike and usually go for food after. If you are a high-fun, low-drama individual then join the rides and join the fun!
