Cherry Creek Trail singletrack

Want to hit the trails, but you don't have time to get out to the foothills?  Or maybe looking to increase your technical skills and have a little fun while you're at it?  Who woulda thunk that you could hop on your bike from downtown Denver and in less than 10 minutes ride be carving some really spectacular singletrack right in the heart of the city.

To get there, start on the Cherry Creek trail near downtown and go south, just after Colorado Blvd. be on the lookout for dirt singletrack branching off of the paved trail.  Some of the terrain you'll encounter is Apex-style rock gardens and Poison Spider-style sandpits.  You'll also find short and steep hills that have left bikes hanging 4 feet up in a tree by it's front tire, the occasional homeless guy sleeping/drinking on the trail, and off-camber slopes that have the potential to leave you covered in goatheads, wet in Cherry creek.  It's a must ride for any singletrack junkie!
