Scott DeLeeuw

Next up on the chopping block, I mean to be interviewed, is our primary organizer and leader Scott DeLeeuw. Without him it's doubtful that we'd all be riding together today. He saved our core team from the wrath of an egotistical fixed gear dictator and like a phoenix from the ashes made us into what we are today.

Leadville instigator, Wednesday ride leader and Cherry Creek time trial veteran, Scott is always there supporting his friends, cheering everyone else on and never without a smile on his face. He has put an incredible amount of work into our team this past year, much of it behind the scenes lining up great sponsors and creating this website. And his downhilling is another one of those areas where other riders can see improvement through dedication and hard work. Plus Scott is a great connaisseur of bicycles and cycling related activities. Whether you want to go shred some singletrack, hit up the time trial series, crank around the track on your fixie or ride your highwheeler, Scott is there to try it with you. Now let's hear what this great guy has to say...

24 Hours of Moab notables

Chris pulled in a 9th place in the men's solo division out of an incredible 62 riders, pretty dang impressive.  He was only 2 laps off of Chris Eatough's winning race.  He couldn't have done it without the help of Marni and the rest of his awesome crew.

Bill put together the Ballistic Stillness Clydesdale team of Keith Burglund, Bill Henderson, Brady Hill, Nigel Thompson. They were thrilled to find their way to 2nd place, receiving big heavy medals, some boxes of some EAS nutritional candy bars, and a SRAM XO derailuer. Consistancy was name of the game, and they hope to next year do battle with the bunch of hardcores on some mean looking 29'ers that beat them this year.

Kudos to Nicolette, Dan, and Truesdale for showing and going with a team name I fail to remember, something to do with a frog and sounding like Joey Buttafuoco... :)

The Podium Corner

If you haven't checked out the podium corner on the left, please do.  There were a ton of impressive accomplishments this summer and a lot of people did very well.  Congratulations everyone, you are a spectacular group of people to ride with!

There are also a couple of new blogs added to the mix, which you can coincidentally find on the left.
