Dan Le is another former Eastside rider like Scott and Truesdale that has moved onto bigger and better things with Ride Against the Machine. Although he lives in Colorado Springs, Dan can often be found making the long drive up to Denver to join everyone on the Wednesday group rides. In addition to racing mountain bikes in the Winter Park series, Dan also races the Cherry Creek Time Trial series as well as at the velodrome. While sometimes soft spoken, he is an excellent source of both weight weenie bike knowledge as well as comic relief. For a taste of that action make sure you check out "The Conversation" at Mike Brevoort's blog. After you stop laughing, come back over and checkout what else Dan has to say...

What is your birthdate? 3/14/72 Do you have any nicknames? Snowman because I have been in Love with Colorado since I have live in this country. What's your favorite trail or ride? Something [Lair of the] Bear in Morrison How long have you been racing bikes? On and off for 10 yrs. More off than on. Which squeeky toy will you be riding with this season? I am waiting for Erik to give up the Sumo but he still hasn't so I am holding out. It is the only one I want. I am pretty adamant. I might have to resort to thieving. What is one riding goal for 2008? Goals, hmmm. I don't really know. Inner Peace. Leave everything on the course. I haven't had that feeling in a very long time. What is one racing goal for 2008? Qualify for nationals at Track. What is one goal you would like to see the team achieve? Team goal would be for Chris to win Moab [wow, thanks!] What is your favorite cycling related product? My favorite cycling product is between my rollers and Assos chamois cream. It's my new religion. The thing I enjoy most about riding is... Riding with friends. The tire and exhausted feeling afterward. Accomplishment at the end of the ride. Getting food. Dan is currently blogless so you'll have to get out riding to catch up with him but stay tuned, Mike Brevoort is up next at Ride Against The Machine! |
